Karma Kids Yoga Teacher Training

The Karma Kids Yoga Teacher Training is for anyone who loves working with children. Our course will provide fun-filled, engaging ideas that are beneficial for kids of all ages. Our method of teaching yoga to children incorporates the use of animated poses, props, music, art, games, storytelling and the imagination, to help stimulate their senses as well as stretch and strengthen their developing bodies.

The Karma Kids Yoga approach uses creative techniques to keep children of all ages engaged in their yoga practice. The unique style incorporates a lot of fun into each class, while encouraging kids to find their inner-peace. Join us to learn over 475 yoga poses, partner poses, group poses, yoga games and activities, breathing exercises, relaxation and visualization techniques, and more for sharing yoga with toddlers through teenagers! This course will cover:

Restorative Yoga

A restorative yoga sequence typically involves only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. You will leave feeling relaxed and rejuvinated.

After we warm up and wake up the body and breath, we will set up the foundation of three inversions.

30 Day Clean Eating Cleanse

Join Michelle and Cindy as they lead you through 30 days of CLEAN eating. Each week we will introduce a new theme to work on throughout the week and offer daily support as needed. Although this is NOT a weight loss program, MOST people experience weight loss, gain more energy, they sleep better, happier, kick sugar cravings and eat when hungry. Each Wednesday we will meet at 7pm and if you decide to stay for 8pm yoga class.  We will recommend 3 days prior to meeting some elimination foods. Upon registration we will give you all the materials you need to get started! Some examples of topics to discuss are food shopping, pantry cleaning, feeding your family and picky eaters, etc... Investment is $100 covering 30 day program, all support, meetings and materials. Yoga for Anxiety

Anxiety, stress and depression are more than common these days, especially during the change of seasons and into holiday time. Chronic anxiety takes a tremendous toll on the body, draining energy resources and keeping the body in a constant state of stress. The effects of anxiety are magnified when the body is not exercised: tension in the muscles build, breathing can be constricted, and the mind has no rest from the whirling thoughts and feelings that feed anxiety.
